Weather

Late morning wether of broken sky conditions with a moderate west wind and noticeable blowing of snow in the NTL & ATL Zones. Afternoon conditions faded to increased sky cover and trace precipitation (S-1) with a moderate west wind.

Snowpack

Average HS was 115cm with pockets of shallower and deeper depending on location. Snowpit on a west aspect revealed 135cm of snow with a pencil hard slab over the top of 4F- DH at the bottom of the snowpack. We had an ECTX but pushed past 30 taps and had a propagation near the top of the DH layer. We also observed collapsing in areas where the slab was thinner
