Weather

Overcast skies and light winds. Temperatures in the teens and 20s. 3.5" with 0.3" of water content measured at the CAIC Snow Study Plot. Storm total; 7.5"/0.5". Little to no additional snow added to the storm total with light snow during the day.

Snowpack

Fresh wind slabs were not as reactive today. Cornice drops produced isolated activity with minimal propagation. Sizable cornice chunks did gouge out D2 sized loose activity that dug into old snow layers and ran quite a ways. East aspect near treeline.

Avalanche

No observed natural activity along the highway corridor. Visibility was poor.
