Weather
Overcast with snow flurries, cold temps in the 20's. Moderate wind and loading eastern facing slopes. Snow decreased as the day progressed.
Snowpack
Snowpack 127cm in depth. New snow comprised 30cm which was well adhered to the layer below. ECT20 propagated through column and failed at 55cm. Of note there was a very compact snow layer at 30cm that was very difficult to cut through even with a saw. Evidence of cracking while skinning up but we did not appreciate any whomping. Expected to find a more touchy snowpack however did not push it and skied low angle slopes
