Snowpack

By 11am, consistent slabbing of the new storm snow was apparent and highly reactive on expected slope angles and rolls, both in micro terrain and on larger open faces. Multiple pull and tap tests from 10,300-11,500 indicated poor bonding of varying degrees and an unstable, scary situation for the next few days.

We observed 10-12 natural slides ranging from R2D2 to small point releases.
