Nice spring-like day up at gorge. evidence of avalanches in past few days. Sun and warmer temps were out. Few clouds, blue skies. Whumping observed once on alpine convex roll. See snowpack for more

CTM 11 @25cm, CTM13 @25. 2-3cm layer of facets found at test failure layer. Test done on 38deg slope, NW aspect @2073m, -8deg C during test @11:30am. Temp was warming throughout day, off slopes @2pm. Light wind towards NE, w/ light blowing snow. S aspects had small sun crust, surface hoar observed in AM on all aspects.
