Snowpack

Snowpack BTL had an HS of 30-70cm on northerly aspects. Recent snowfall has produced a 4F ~20cm slab resting on well developed facets. Failure initiation was observed on the new snow/old snow interface. Propagation was not observed, the overlying slab is subjectively not cohesive enough. ECTN10, CT7SC observed on a NW aspect @10,900'

Avalanche

Small roadside avalanche observed on due North aspect at 10,100. Trigger coded as unknown, it either released naturally or was remotely triggered via snowmobile (AMr). Released between 2:30pm-4:30pm.
