Weather
Snowing all morning, over 2" per hour for some time. Trailer had 6" of snow after 3 hours at 8500', with heavier rates up high. Wind was variable - gusting up to 25mph but times of fairly calm winds as well.
Snowpack
HS = 115cm at 9,800', 125cm at 10,500' Ice layer (Nov 6 rain) was 5-6mm thick below 10,000 ft. It was less thick and not as hard above 10,000ft where we dug. The layer we were concerned about was at 50cm above the ground, about 20cm above the ice layer, on a thin layer of facets/SH that gave consistent results in pit tests (CT21 (RP), ECT16P).
