Decoeli SW GR 424465

Quick tour to the last objective that can still be skied in & out in the front range. Went up the traditional route for Decoeli. Took a look at a N facing couloir going up the drainage but snow looked thin, hard, crusty & icy. Also took a look at the ski line off the summit of Decoeli and that is now out of commission for lack of snow. The traditional summit ridge to Decoeli is also almost snow free. We opted to bootpack the ridge south of Decoeli pass to +- 2100m and found decent snow coverage for a ski descent but similar challenging ski conditions (hard, crusty). The snow soften up at around 1700m and mostly following the packed sled track, we managed to ski out without harm to our skis.
