Amazing conditions in Kakwa Found snow to be stable despite reports of natural avalanches in the Flattop area. Wind slab and major loading problems from the weekend (Saturday) seemed to tighten up as the winds subsided Monday and snowpack is consolidating - still we did see moderate wind gusts at Alpine moving snow. Visibility so we moved up as high as Treeline and found some fun steeps on supported terrain and avoided convex rolls. Snow geek alert below!
