Coles notes: variable. Variable snow quality and depths; great skiing below treeline in wind-sheltered trees / cutblocks, ski pen around 15-30cm (1300m, HS around 150cm). Alpine obviously wind affected and incredibly variable depths and conditions. Naturals on east and west faces, steep (40-60 deg) and shallow (size 1-2.0). Dug around 1575m, SW aspect within an open basin, not protected from wind, anywhere from 200cm to 400cm depth. Very thick and hard densities tested. Didn't ski any steep alpine features; awareness towards shallow zones for assumed facet factor. Hopefully some photos help paint the picture! Our question was: how supportive is the bridging..
