Ridge Line Cornice popped on approach to the Glacier. Constant strong winds have shaped an already massive cornice. 1 member of our Group of 4 carefully and cautiously knocked this piece off with a pole swing. About the size of a Sprinter Van. Triggered a small slide that failed to propagate or run the full length of the slope. Glacier held great quality turns, parked at 1350m. Still possible to drive to 1800m. Chains Recommended. (As of Monday Afternoon).
