Keen group on an AST 1 course with Rockaboo Mountain Adventures. Consensus report from our field day. 5-10 cm of new snow with greater amounts around Medicine lake (Spicy driving on the Maligne road), light winds and no noticeable snow transport. Temperatures near 0 by late afternoon.

Unconsolidated faceted snowpack BTL. Test profile at 2150m, meadow, NE facing, 20deg. Compression tests yielded moderate results, resistant planar, down 15cm at the storm snow interface and hard results, sudden collapse, down 40cm on facets.
