Very warm day out, especially on the glacier which was getting baked in the sun with little to no wind. We saw cornice debris on the glacier which presumably came from the features on the south side. On the north end of the glacier, we heard rock fall and found some fallen rocks. Cornices are looming over the NE slope before the summit block and one is quite large (see photo).

Pinwheeling observed all day almost everywhere and tree bombs on the way down in the afternoon. We heard rock fall and found fallen rocks on the north end of the glacier. There’s a large cornice looming over the NE face prior to the summit block, and on the summit there’s a cornice overhanging the northern aspect below. Wind affected snow in some areas above the glacier with quite a bit of wind coming through from the north at the col.
