Sunny skied that later became overcast by afternoon. Nice cold temps with little wind.

Snowpack

7" of new snow resting on top of a supportable crust on SW aspects near treeline. As you moved below treeline on SW aspects at around 8800', snow became very thin to bone dry in some areas. East aspects near treeline, snow remained cold and deep. Below treeline on East aspects, snow became crusty at around 8800'.
