Weather

Clear in afternoon, very light breeze. Widespread collapsing and cracking in meadows by ski hayden trailhead ~500 feet up above the creek.

Snowpack

HS105 in meadows. Top 30-50cm soft slab. Some crust/facet combos ~20cm down from top of snowpack. Ski pen = boot top. Boot pen = punching to the ground.

Avalanche

Not sure if that's the exact location; soft slab to L side of castle creek road on a small convex feature with some rock bands near the top. Looked like it had popped out naturally overnight or early this morning. R3 / D1-1.5. Saw from road.
