Weather

Abundant sunshine and calm air made for a very comfortable day above treeline.

Snowpack

Recent storm measured at 12cm in wind/sun protected spots. Snow surface was moist below treeline by 10am and above ~12,200 by noon. The surface type is not uniform across this large swath of easterly terrain as it has remained for 3 plus weeks in the alpine. Newly drifted deposits proved to be unreactive to our travels amongst the various slab types, near surface facets and crusts, making up the majority of the snow-scape.
