Snowpack
No major evidence of wind slab on N-NE ATL. Small <6" storm slabs seen and a couple sluffs triggered by ski cuts D1 or less that ran on slick dust melt freeze surface. But in general new snow bonded well to the old surface on N ATL. The new dust was still seen and prevalent below 4-8" or so of new snow. When sun did come out it was intense and had more surface affect on the easterly aspects and minimal on north ATL. The dust will be wreaking havoc on the snowpack as soon as it stops snowing the sun comes out making a quick end to soft snow. Maybe squeak out a day or two in the coming days. Thanks for a great forecast season everyone! You all knocked it out the park and we appreciate you.
