Snowpack

The snowpack in this area is deep (100-150cm) with wind-drifted and recent storm snow. The base is comprised of >50cm of unconsolidated depth hoar which easily fractures during isolated compression tests (fractured during first attempt at isolating column). A recent storm slab layer at ~120cm consistently broke during compression tests at CT14. (see attached pit profile)
