Weather

After a quiet early morning the brunt of the storm arrived about 1030 with heavy snow and very strong southwest winds. This morning's snow observation; 3.5" of new snow with 0.6" of water content- the sample was nearly all graupel. Storm total as of this morning is 19" with 2" of water content.

Snowpack

With an Avalanche Warning in place and very poor visibility due to intense winds and heavy snow, travel was confined to known none avalanche terrain (N below TL). We found no signs of instability there.

Avalanche

No avalanche activity was observed. Visibility was very poor.
