Snowpack

Total snow depth ranges between 2 to 2.5 meters near treeline. Recent winds stiffened the snow surface on most open slopes, and pockets of surface hoar are developing in wind and sun protected terrain. The upper snowpack consists of 1-1.5 meters of 1F to pencil hard rounds. No propagating results could be found in Extended Column Tests.
