Weather

Mostly sunny when we started snowing in the mountains near Nast with increasing cloud cover and increasing wind gusts to max of 20.Stayed below freezing all day.

Snowpack

30-60cm of faceted snow. Southerly and west-facing slopes have 3cm crust down about 10-15cm below the surface that is supportive to skier traffic. All other aspects are all facets, but there is enough structure left to have a ski pen of 20cm and no sloughing in steep terrain. Test results were ECTN(12) and CT(12) SC down 36 on 4-6mmfacets.
