Skied from the 2200m sub-summit of Pouppard. We found wind pressed powder above 1800m with good powder skiing down to 1300m. Temps were kept cold with a consistent light downflow wind through the day. No wind on the summit but still cold in the sun. Snow at lower elevations did not soften all the day. HS at about 1800 on the glacier was a variable 150cm. Rain crust was evident from under 10cms of snow up to 1500m. Skiing was fast and fun.
