Chickadee Valley

Okay riding in chickadee valley, snow was faceted but did notice distinct wind slab near the top when pushing pole down to test snow. Now a lot of snow at all, and previous ski tracks were very hard and crusty. It was very cold in the morning at the car (-30ish) but warmed up in the afternoon to around -18/-15. Bluebird day with lots of sun warming. Did see some avalanche debris on steep south east facing gullies, probably around a 1.5 size and stopped halfway down slope. Punching through quite deep on the skin track, and punching down to ground when stepping off skis.
