Beautiful touring and skiing conditions January 6 - 8. Cold all weekend, snow from Friday and Sunday remained dry and light above 1600 metres. The underlying melt/freeze crust made for some slippery skinning on lower elevations. No natural releases, skied all aspects in safe terrain without any slabs or sluffing.
