No Signs of avalanche activity around oboe or cowboy. We avoided the obvious convexity at the top of cowboy ridge, as did everyone else. However, a ski cut nearby wasn't able to make anything move. Ski penetration approximately 25 cm into very dry powder. Despite the very strange surface of the snow, after it's playdate with the wind, the surface doesn't feel wind affected. Does not feel/behave cohesive like a slab. Just makes everything a little more aesthetic. Oboe saw a lot of traffic, cowboy was surprisingly less so. Picture attached was taken at 3:00 p.m. Few parties still out there. Great day.
