Hanging Lake

No signs of new instability today, few natural releases around tree bands. Started on low angle terrain and worked our way up to a few higher angle areas and convexities as we felt more confident in the pack. Large surface hoar crystals 3-4mm on the surface which may become a problem with the next storm cycle. Actually a very enjoyable ride out to the car park with the low snowline and fresh snow which you don’t get that often on the coast!
