Gorge-ous ??❄️

We had a gorge-ous day of skiing at the gorge. Skinned up from 13km on the road, although it should be plowed higher soon. We dug a pit at 1900m on a west aspect. No significant results with the early December crust down 80-100cm and seemingly well bonded to the overlying snow. No signs of instability observed throughout the day. Some older wind effect observed at treeline below the 10 cm of new snow from overnight. Coverage is great, although below 1500m creeks are open in some areas and expect to get into some serious alder-cations. Lots of traffic on the road, make sure you have a programmed radio and communicate with other users. Enjoy the powder Christmas came early! ❄️ ?
