Few sky in morning, south facing slopes were getting affected by the sun. Clouds rolling in the pm with L to M SW winds, Nil precip. Temps around -5.

Dug a profile on a South aspect open slope at treeline. 30deg, 2050m, HS 225cm, PF 35cm. CTN x 2 well consolidated upper snowpack. Dec 4th crust was down 160cm and is 50cm thick. DTH 23 (SP) down 175 whithin the crust complex on facets. DTH 24 (BRK) down 160 above the crust.
