Give’r a Yanks

It took some searching but there is still good riding to be found around Yanks. With no new snow and light winds the hazard is trending down but it’s not open season yet. Wind slabs are still lingering below ridge crests on north and east facing slopes. We watched out for places where the snow felt dense and wind affected. We avoided these places where wind had deposited slabs and stuck to the softer stuff among the sheltered trees. A dense fog made it difficult to see but we still covered a fair amount of ground.
