While riding in north bowl, rider triggered a small avalanche while turning. The avalanche was shallow (20 cm), approximately 20 m wide, and ran for around 30 m. The rider was caught and pushed down slope but managed to stay upright. A crust at a depth of about 20 cm was noted on the skin up, and the avalanche appeared to consist of the new snow on top of this crust.
