Wet,blowing and soggy in p lot had me questioning my life choices to tour. Thankfully above tower 8 or so, rain slush changing to drying snow and white trees above drove us on. Above 1050 m's (t bar land) snow dry ish but wind effected. Mod sustained at 1st knoll ridge with strong gusts from SE-E making drifts up to 1 m deep in a heavy layer cake consistency. No whumfs or cracks or slabs, seen or heard. Foggy and blowing light snow gave only intermittent views around. Rode steeper Nish facing slopes off of 1st knoll before Prayer flags with out incident except for fluff up in your face ;) soft slab forming in lee features there at ridge line. Snow gets wettish and crusty underneath below 1050 m's. So never made valley bottom. 15 ish cm's of fresh with out wind effect in old skin track here to give an idea of recent storm snow for last 24 hrs or so. Skins on in plot and rode back to tower 5 before scratchy rocks felt and dismounted for short walk to truck. Good day.
