Avalanche

1900m elevation start zone WNW aspect. Sc at ridge crest. Very large crown at immediate Lee of ridge. Sudden collapse character. Propagation was fast. Small terrain feature limited the size of propagation. Suspect A larger open face would propagate quick and big. WS was stiff and thick. Ran long to gulley drainage. Ski cut numerous WS on south through west facing terrain. Best skiing was under 1800m in south facing trees.
