Our party traveled to Bow Hut on Saturday, February 15, returning the next day to the trailhead. Between 11 am on Feb 15 and about the same time on Feb 16, a small avalanche released into the canyon on the main route to Bow Hut. The avalanche occurred at the point where the path leaves the canyon on the path into the hut. A member of our party had set a new skin track above the slide location on the outbound trip, but the avalanche was not triggered at that time. We observed it on the return trip the next day. The were numerous glide cracks observed on the west facing canyon wall.
