Avalanche - Reudi’s East

Remote (skier?) triggered 5 m from ski tips as we regrouped in a flat area above the slope. No involvement. Passing through this area to access our intended ski run, tighter trees on a northerly aspect. Impressive propagation and thickness of slab which we suspect was a combination of the past two days storm snow (HST 30ish cm) plus some wind loading from down flow winds off of the ridge above. Failure plane suspected as Dec 30 Surface hoar but did not stick around for a full investigation.
