Went up to Pedley today as usual, colder day around -7 at the start of our day. We went to the ridge and rode some south facing slopes on the backside of he mountain. There was a crust that was 5-10cm thick which made for safe conditions. We also rode north facing slopes too
Weather
A bit of weird weather today. Started of as mix of cloud and sun, then switched to mostly cloudy. There would be storm clouds that would come and go and it would snow for a couple minutes, then clear up and then snow again The ridge wind was strong and was around 50 to 60km/h
Snowpack
We dug a snowpit on the north facing bowl to take a look at the snowpack. The recent problematic layers have healed a bit but are still somewhat present. CTH 26 hits RP 15 cm down CTh 29 hits RP 30 cm down
