Mostly enjoyable day aside from the navigational challenges associated with navigating in whiteout and heavy winds >2,300 m. On nearly all but N aspects we encountered varying amounts of dust on crust. On lee N slopes wind slab was encountered but seemed unreactive.
Weather
Light snow in the morning then cleared up for mid-day. Heavy winds in the Alpine >2,000m. Dense clouds/fog and whiteout conditions observed and encountered above 2,300m. Plenty of snow continued to fall in the evening.
Avalanche
Observed a few older wet loose avalanches on steep and exposed rock features. Set multiple size 0.5 sluffs skiing down steep N aspects.
