Little Crowfoot

The cold nights and mild days have faceted out the near surface of the snow especially on north aspects and probably cornices too. The new snow this week might bond poorly. Great travel conditions on the lakes they are in perfect skate skiing condition. The slopes were a mix of powder and wind crust and sun crust with colouir and gullies type features holding the best snow. Generally about 10 cm of faceted powder on crusts. Quick travel on the flats and through the canyon.
