Great conditions out today, weather and snow. 35cm storm snow broke easily on ECT (NE just below ridge) but was unconsolidated and protected from wind and sun, no other results, deep progressive snowpack with minimal variation or distinct layers in top 1.3m as deep as the dig. Surface snow remained cool and dry but with very little sluffing. Suspect that will change shortly with rising mercury. Took a couple day riding ogden benches to gain the confidence and nerves to attempt the line (60+ blower last week, but after an eventful weather week had to check yesterday no new wind/storm slab had formed throughout the week). For those looking for beta, a bailout requires some treacherous survival skiing, so familiarity with localized conditions in the valley is key before an attempt as not wanting to do the bailout could push the human factor into taking the easy way out down the line when it's not advisable.
