Lots of chunky looking avalanches off of north aspects, which appear to be windslab propagations and cornice failures. See photos for large size 2/3 off the west shoulder of Rainbow. Some small point releases off sunny aspects. Very icy below 1700m. Rain runnels everywhere. From 1700 to 2300m, dust on crust skiied surprisingly well! BIG cornices on the north sides of all ridges, stay away! They were easy to avoid for the standard Rainbow uptrack.
