Some interesting stuff on sheltered slopes at Treeline. Today’s storm snow is sitting on a breakable crust, sitting on 5cm of rotten snow, sitting on top of the mega crust from the rain storm two weeks ago. In certain areas the new snow was not bonding well and sudden results were found. Once the new snow slabs up we could see a real interesting slab problem up there.
