First min for myself and first proper tour. Some good lessons learnt. We checked the morning Avy forecast and decided to ski S/SW slopes if things looked good. Went to Dome peak. Some mild whumpfing heard but only on flat saddle type areas. No shooting cracks. Just after starting our descent down fazurs we witnessed 2 avalanches happen (maybe size 2 ish idk) right in our planned route and on either side of us. We tucked tail and headed back upset with ourselves suspecting we missed the rapid warming signs (sun was out) but was very windy so we didn't notice much the heat. Close call we felt lucky but naive.
