Considering all the other very fun and viable options currently in the surrounding Banff area, this area should be left alone until at least another 50cm falls.. I believe the previous reports understated how much of a shark minefield this spot still is, and will continue to get worse the more people ride it. Low density powder snow under rocks from top to bottom. Almost all other lines in the saddleback area (haddo bowl, Fairview etc) look even worse. Photo included is the bowl between Fairview and surprise pass.
