Lots of wind coming from sw through to nw up to 90kph reported.

Lots of snow moving with the current wind. Boot pack tracks on ridge top were covered within a matter of minutes.

Avalanche

A slope that had been ski cut by the first member of the party triggered when the second member made first turn onto slope. The slope triggered ~50cm above skier and propagated 10m from where they had made their initial turn. Skier was able to quickly ski to point of safety. Slab released in the immediate lee directly below ridge top. Slab resistance was 1f to 4f-.
