Diped in the Zimbuk drainage with some good powder on crust turns and some on wind hammered snow. Most of the face has been damaged by cornice falls and avalanches from the recent warm up, the debris at the bottom are massive. We had some whumpfing lower down while climbing up towards the Darkside, the area is prone to preservation of surface hoar. We also triggered brittle pockets of hard slabs (18cm and deeper) near ridge tops and cornices (see pictures attached for an example).
