Weather

Clear and cold all day, winds moderate to strong at ridgetops with intense blowing snow.

Snowpack

See snowpit. Below and near treeline the snowpack was mostly faceted with a 1F slab in the mid pack. Dust layer was present 40cm above the ground.

Avalanche

One avalanche observed from the Henrietta's ridgeline on the North Face of Sultan Mountain, not sure how recent this was but the crown was sharp and fresh.
