Snowpack

Location: North of Montgomery Bowl, Cameron Pass Elev: 11,200ft Aspect: NE Slope Angle: 30 Profile Type: Test Pit Test pit revealed total snow depth of 100cm. Top portions of the snowpack indicated a variety of decomposing precipitation particles and faceting grains approximately fist to 1 finger hardness throughout. Very weak faceted layer 84cm down did not propagate on extended column tests, but did propagate with additional loading (ECTN 35). Other tests completed indicated: CTM12 @ 18cm CTM 15 @ 35cm CTH22 @ 84cm ECTN12 @ 18cm ECTN18 @ 30cm
