Thin and highly variable. BTL- Avg HS 70-90cm, and very weak. Skiing was nearly impossible. A very soft mid-pack slab existed in isolated areas, and would support your weight with skis on. The slabs were small and discontinuous. Could not travel more than ten feet before slab would end and you'd drop to the ground through all the facets. Near TL- Very sensitive.Most of the loading occurred here. Soft winds slabs from recent storm were 1-2 feet thick. Experienced widespread collapsing in the flats and on steep test slopes. Cracks would shot 10-20 feet from your skis, and slabs would visibly collapse around a half an inch. Cracking indicated the slabs were around 20 feet average in diameter.
