Weather

Time: 0900 Weather: partly cloudy became cloudy with light snow. Temps -15 F at trailhead, increased as we climbed. Ridge temp around 10 F. Winds from NE gusting to 15/20, steady 10 at ridge.

Snowpack

Snowpack: loading on SE aspects. Upper snowpack near ridge was loaded from previous west winds. No new snow. No other signs of instability. Avalanche activity: saw signs of previous slides on E and NE aspects, mostly filled back in.
