Weather
Sunday- very windy, winds shifting throughout day (westerly, then easterly, then southerly, then southwesterly. Snow on and off throughout day. Over a foot at 12,000'. Sunday night- clear, still. Cold. Monday- misty, broken clouds, very slight breeze. Storm came back in around 11.
Snowpack
Old snow did not sufficiently freeze below 12,000' on south aspects. Frequent collapsing on Sunday as well as a small amount on Monday (new snow insulated despite the cold temps). Above 12,000' old snow was unreactive and appeared to have frozen enough. Didn't dare venture onto east facing as that had been very sloppy on Saturday. Cold temps and clear night dried the new snow out nicely! New snow is well bonded to old snow.
Avalanche
Some natural point release sluffs Monday morning below N and E facing cliffs.
