Mild temps, wind localized to ridgelines and intermittent, scattered clouds.
Snowpack
Similar to other locations across zone w a few exceptions: basal DH much better developed (3-4mm, chained & striated, slight rounding), several thin crusts in facets above weakest DH, and slab softer (4f-4f+ at base). Weakest DH sitting on 5-8cm K-hard basal ice. Trapdoor conditions developing in shallow areas (<~35cm).
Avalanche
Numerous natural avalanches occurred at end of last storm, likely during higher winds before Thanksgiving. Variable crown depths, some at ridgeline & others some distance below ridgelines. D2-2.5, though wide enough to be D3 were there enough volume. Northerly slopes and generally above treeline, though one notable exception just below Independence Pass on 40* slope below treeline.
